Short Description
- Provides psychosocial assessments crisis intervention social work consultation referralsshort term crisis counseling to facilitate discharge plans and/or adjustment to illness and complex discharge planning for patients and their families
- Functions as a member of the Utilization Management team
- Responsible for MSW field instruction for Rutgers University School of Social Work.
- Provides supervision to BA/BSW staff LCSWs provide clinical supervision to LSW staff asassigned by the Director of Utilization Management
Experience Required
1-2 years health care experience
Education Requirements
Requires a masters degree in social work (MSW)
License/Certification Requirements
Current NJ SW License (NEW JERSEY SOCIAL WORKER) LCSW Preferred.
