This is a high-visibility role where your guidance helps innovation scale responsibly.

As an Attorney in Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Operations Innovation & Product Transformation Legal Counsel in Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Operations Innovation and Product Transformation you will provide real-time strategic legal support to two core areas: Servicing Operations and Voice Product & Contact Center Platform. You will advise product and operational leaders as they design and deploy technology-enabled capabilities (including AI and omnichannel solutions) while identifying and managing legal and regulatory risk. You will serve as a trusted advisorand work alongside a more senior attorney helping to build durable legal guidance and frameworks that accelerate delivery and strengthen risk discipline.

Job Responsibilities

  • Embedwith agile product teams to deliver timely pragmatic legal counsel aligned to sprint timelines and business priorities
  • AdviseServicing Operations stakeholders supporting customer experiences across cards checking savings and auto loans
  • Counselteams designing and implementing global Voice/Contact Center platforms including AI-enabled and omnichannel capabilities
  • Identifyemerging legal regulatory and technology risks early andrecommendmitigation strategies that enable responsible innovation
  • Researchcomplex issues anddraftclear legal analyses opinions and guidance tailored to business use cases
  • Partnerwith Legal Compliance and Risk colleagues to deliver coordinated consistent guidance across stakeholder groups
  • Translatecomplex legal concepts into actionable direction through live discussions emails formal memos and agile tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Developfoundational legal frameworks standards and reusable guidance (playbooks) to support repeatable decision-making
  • Monitormarket trends and innovation strategies to keep advice current and forward-looking
  • Supportgovernance and review processes bydocumentingdecisions risks and approvals in an audit-ready manner
  • DriveCCB Legals agile evolution by contributing to modern ways of working continuous improvement and knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills

  • J.D. andlicensed to practice law in good standing in the state/jurisdiction where the role is based
  • 3 yearsof post-J.D. legal experience
  • Demonstrated ability toinfluence and lead through partnership working effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong capability toanalyze complex situationsacross a broad range of legal and risk topics
  • Proven ability tosolve problems collaborativelywith creativity practicality and sound judgment
  • Excellentanalytical organizational and communicationskills (written and oral)
  • Ability tooperate with high initiative and self-directionin a fast-paced rapidly changing environment
  • Experiencedelivering clear actionable guidanceto both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfort working inagile environmentsand supporting teams moving at the speed of product delivery
  • Strong attention to detail and ability todocument advice and decisionsclearly and consistently
  • Ability to successfully complete aconflicts of interest clearance reviewprior to employment

Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills

  • Education or experience intechnology including product development or platform/infrastructure initiatives
  • Working knowledge of thefinancial services industry especially consumer financial products
  • Familiarity withconsumer banking lawsand regulatory compliance considerations
  • Experience advising onemerging technology risk(e.g. AI digital channels data/analytics third-party platforms)
  • Experience supportingcontact center voice or customer servicingtransformation programs
  • Demonstrated ability tocreate scalable legal frameworks(standards templates playbooks guardrails) used across teams
  • Prior experience partnering withCompliance and Operational Riskteams on coordinated guidance and governance
