STAFF PHARMACIST - West Chester PA

Full Time - 2nd Shift

• Responsible in providing day to day operational services
• Ability to work flexible hours which may include evening weekends and holidays
• Process new and refill patient prescription orders preparation and dispense medications
• Work closely with Pharmacy Technicians and Order Entry Technicians in the preparation and dispensing of medications
• Proficient in clinical interpretation; drug-drug drug-disease drug-food interaction and allergies
• Performs accurately and efficiently when dispensing medications
• Communicates with prescribers and other health care provider
• Ensures safety practices and procedures are followed
• Assist in the enforcement of all company and departmental policies and procedures
• Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practices
• Customer-Centered and strives to exceed customer expectations

• B.S. or PharmD Degree in Pharmacy
• Must have current Pharmacist Licensure in PA in good standing
• 1 years recent experience in long term care (preferred) retail or hospital pharmacy
• Experience and knowledge base of intravenous admixtures services preferred
• Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with English as the primary language
• Must have strong customer service skills time management skills and ability to problem solve
