Desired candidate qualification and experience:
Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Zoho Books for cloud-based accounting and MIS reporting is required along with essential knowledge of Tally.
Tax & Statutory Expertise: Excellent familiarity with tax laws and statutory formalities including Income Tax GST TDS EPF and ESI.
Industry Experience: Previous experience working for Real Estate Developers Construction companies or related industries is highly preferred.
Financial Oversight: Ability to independently manage the complete accounting process and represent the full financial picture of the company.
Banking Relations: Experience interacting with banks for limit renewals enhancements and coordinating with customer home loan financiers.
with a minimum of 6 years of work experience.
Or with a minimum of 4 years of work experience.
Typical day in office:
Ensuring and enforcingstatutary compliance in all day to day working transactions of the company
Maintain and record all cash transactions with speed and accuracy. Cash reconciliation to be done daily
Maintain the book of accounts for all daily transactions
Present accounts receivables and account payables statements as required
Ensure high customer satisfaction with payment collection process
Co-ordinate with the cashier on daily basis to reconcile cheque / cash deposits / withdrawals from the bank
Maintain working relationships with banks/lending institutions and customers home loan financiers
Ensuring compliance with statutory laws and meeting deadlines
Invoicing and preparing purchase orders for customers and vendors
Preparing Statement of accounts for customers / vendors & suppliers as and when required
Maintenance of proper attendance and leave records though payroll software
Ensure compliance with TDS/GST/ESI/all other norms
Co-ordinating with the company auditor / Internal Auditor for quarterly / annual tax filling
Co-ordinating with the company auditor on a regular basis for all other purposes
In short the candidate will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance and independently managing the accounts/books of the company including invoicing collections payment reminders maintaining office accounts preparing MIS reports and employee/supplier/customers regulatory compliance.
Other information:
You maybe provided with an assistant for your day to day working requirement
Cash withdrawals / deposits / bank visits will be handled by companys cashier. You will have to monitor the day to day activities of the cashier
You will co-ordinate with the purchase assistants / project coordinators/ site engineers to record and maintain supplier payments
Equal preference for male or female candidates
Indicative Office timings for this position:9.00AM to 7.00PM (Mon-Sat)
Location preference:
You will be a vital link in the day to day office processes hence it is essential that you make yourself available in the office on all working days on time. Considering this it is preferable if you reside in and around Kodambakkam Ashok Nagar Vadapalani or nearby areas unless you have a two/four wheeler and can commit to being on time on a short notice on exceptional situations.
