Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) for a travel assignment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong echocardiography experience who thrive in a dynamic clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) procedures
- Capture high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Document findings accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams
- Maintain equipment and follow clinical protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac sonography experience
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- ARDMS or CCI certification required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of a JCERT/CAAHEP-accredited program
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- First-time travelers accepted
Additional Information:
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call requirement
- Floating within facility may be required
- Scheduling requests not permitted
- Orientation: 12 hours (Non-billable)
