Trainee, SAP Basis

We are currently seeking candidate for a Trainee position in the SAP Basis within our organization. This role offers the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the Overall SAP Basis Administration and familiarize yourself with the technologies utilized at Konecranes. Additionally you will have the chance to work on BTP Azure platform.

Your key responsibilities:

• Daily monitoring of all SAP systems (e.g. work processes users system logs short dumps locks developer traces system traces disk space profile parameter maintenance etc.)
• Analyzing system Performance and adjusting various tuning parameters to maintain optimum utilization including application server load balancing operation modes background jobs management
• Configure and manage the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances
• Knowledge of Kernel upgrade Support Pack Stack Upgrade STMS configuration Database patching for SAP NetWeaver Platform is desirable.
• SAP Solution Manager Change Request Management functionality (ChaRM) from basis point of view and cCTS Solution Manager configurations are seen as big advantage
• Exhibit Konecranes Core values and code of conduct into each action
• Furthermore adherence to operational procedures compliant with audit requirements is imperative.
• Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards

Qualifications :

What should you bring

0-2 years of experience in IT industry working in global support or business process monitoring environment.

 IT skills: 

• Certified SAP BASIS Administrator
• Experience in monitoring for S/4 Hana systems.
• Must have Knowledge about SAP ERP System monitoring & Administration tasks
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Good to have experience in General System administration.
• Good to have Knowledge of S/4 HANA database administration tasks.
• Good to have Knowledge of Linux administration tasks
• Should be comfortable using basic MS-Office tools (Excel Word Outlook etc.)

General Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills are essential demonstrating both the capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within team dynamics as required.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities are crucial.
• Should be flexible to take up any challenge offered based on business need.
• Nice to have experience in interacting with the global team set-up.
• Team player
• English Communication skills Verbal Written
• Willing to work in shifts when necessary
