Were proud to be shaping some of the most complex and transformative infrastructure projects in North America.In partnership with Metrolinx ACCIONA is playing a key role in the design and construction of the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension (ECWE) a 9.2-kilometre westward addition to Torontos Line 5 light rail transit network. This major infrastructure project includes seven new stations and installation of rail and systems under a progressive design-build model.
Beyond its technical scope the ECWE project represents a significant investment in sustainable urban mobility expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 5800 tonnes annually and eliminate over 6.5 million vehicle trips each year when combined with the full Line 5.

The Electrical Technical Lead provides technical leadership for electrical engineering systems supporting a major rail transit infrastructure project delivered by Trillium Rail Partners (TRP). The role ensures electrical systems are designed integrated and delivered in accordance with safety operational and performance requirements.
This role works closely with systems engineering telecom traction power construction teams and commissioning teams to ensure electrical infrastructure supports safe and reliable rail operations.
Job Description
Provide technical leadership for electrical engineering scope across stations tunnels guideways and support facilities.
Oversee electrical system design including power distribution emergency power lighting grounding and related infrastructure.
Review engineering drawings specifications and calculations prepared by consultants.
Coordinate interfaces with other project systems including traction power signaling telecom and SCADA systems.
Support resolution of technical issues during design development and construction.
Participate in design reviews constructability reviews and technical workshops.
Support testing commissioning and integration of electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes transit authority standards and project specifications.
Required Skills and Competencies
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Professional Engineer (.) designation or eligibility in Ontario.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Professional Engineer (.) designation or eligibility in Ontario.
Experience delivering electrical infrastructure on major construction or transit projects.
Experience with rail systems power distribution or large infrastructure electrical systems is highly desirable.
Strong electrical systems engineering expertise.
Systems integration mindset.
Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Strong technical documentation and problem-solving skills.
