Job Summary
Lakeside High School is seeking a highly motivated and innovative educator to join our Career & Technical Education (CTE) team. This position is designed for a program builder who can either continue our Family & Consumer Sciences (FACS) programs OR strengthen and/or expand other Career Pathways based on certification and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction in Family & Consumer Sciences and/or an aligned CTE pathway
- Develop and implement engaging hands-on career-focused lessons aligned to state standards
- Strengthen existing programs of study or develop new pathway opportunities
- Support students in completing a full CTE pathway sequence
- Build partnerships with local businesses industry and postsecondary institutions
- Utilize data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes
- Collaborate with staff to ensure alignment and program quality
- Participate in school activities meetings and professional development
Qualifications:
- Valid Arkansas teaching license in an approved CTE area (or ability to obtain licensure)
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to connect instruction to real-world applications
- Experience developing or expanding CTE programs (preferred)
- Willingness to sponsor or support student organizations (preferred)
