Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of all masonry projects from planning to completion. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and policies for all masonry projects
- Conduct thorough inspections of materials workmanship and construction methods to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications
- Collaborate with project managers architects and subcontractors to resolve any quality issues and ensure timely completion of projects
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of all quality control processes and procedures
- Train and supervise quality control inspectors and other team members on quality standards and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in building codes and regulations to ensure compliance and quality standards are met
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on quality control issues and solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality materials are used in all projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance in the construction industry preferably in masonry
- Strong knowledge of building codes regulations and industry standards
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Proficient in using quality control tools and software
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Strong leadership skills and ability to train and supervise team members
- Must be able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
