Position: QA Engineer
Bausch-White Masonry LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our masonry projects. This is a full-time on-site position that offers competitive salary and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures for masonry projects
- Conduct thorough inspections of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Perform regular audits and document findings for quality control purposes
- Create and maintain detailed quality reports and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices to continuously improve quality processes
- Train and mentor team members on quality assurance processes and procedures
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related matters
- Assist with the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of masonry construction materials processes and techniques
- Experience with quality assurance tools and techniques such as Six Sigma or Lean
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other quality management software
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
- Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations as needed
