Job Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Barnet to assist with the appointment of a Customer Service Representative on a 12-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 104.56 - 138.13 per day

Summary:

An opportunity is available for a Customer Service Representative to support the day-to-day operations maintenance and safety of council buildings. The role involves ensuring compliance with health and safety standards carrying out minor repairs supporting building operations and delivering excellent customer service to staff and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Health & Safety checks and maintain records
  • Open/close buildings monitor alarms and ensure site security
  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs (plumbing carpentry lighting)
  • Set up rooms and support facilities/logistics tasks
  • Assist with emergency situations and out-of-hours cover
  • Provide customer support to staff and visitors

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in building maintenance facilities or caretaking roles
  • Basic skills in repairs (plumbing carpentry or electrical)
  • Knowledge of health & safety procedures
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexibly including evenings/weekends if required

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
