• 06:30-17:00 with rotating day off

Position Details

• Perform sterile techniques set up surgical trays prepare and drape patients for surgery and assist with post-operative dressings
• Ensure surgical packs are cleaned and packed for sterilization after every procedure
• Maintain a clean safe environment for the patient by actively cleaning clinical spaces operating rooms and medical equipment or guiding other personnel in environmental maintenance

Position Requirements:

• Hold current national certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
• Graduate from a Surgical Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
• Have completed an appropriate training program for surgical technologists in the armed forces at a CAAHEP accredited hospital or CAAHEP ambulatory surgical treatment center programorcomplete the surgical technologists LCC-ST certifying exam within 18 months from the date of hire
• BLS
• 18 months of recent surgical experience
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residence
