Job Summary
Sparrow Company is seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate for a seasonal opportunity in Santa Teresa NM. This position is ideal for someone who is safety oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Apply Today!
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Operate forklift to load unload and move product throughout the warehouse
- Check truck drivers in and out and assist with scheduling and coordination
- Load and off-load freight safely and efficiently
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products
- Repair and clean damaged product as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse office areas and surrounding grounds
- Assist with general maintenance tasks
- Support warehouse operations during peak season and special projects
- Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting productivity expectations
- Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 24 years of forklift experience required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptable to changing daily tasks and priorities
- Reliable transportation required
- Availability to work extended hours during peak season (late April through early August)
