As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility - Overnight Shiftin Palm Harbor FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas support a professional environment and provide outstanding customer service and this role you will remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents while working with a team that values being agile reliable innovative and driven by integrity and care.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility including hallways waiting areas entrances parking areas and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Help to deter unauthorized access suspicious activity and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and addressing issues through established procedures.
• Support access control and visitor management functions by monitoring entry points verifying credentials when required and communicating with staff regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
