Global Compliance and Reporting is an integrated suite of Tax and Accounting services that EY provides to our multinational clients. GCR offers the ease of managing compliance & regulatory filings by:

Taking care of the complexity of regulatory affairs across multiple jurisdictions

Centrally managing the global compliance and reporting activities

Controlling the cost of managing compliance across various countries

Each client is referred to as an engagement and the GCS teamis responsible for ensuring the delivery asper the service level agreements. Globally tax and accounts preparation activities are conducted mostlyin the local countries and hence requires a wide network of EY professionals to work together to deliver to the client expectations. A central team (GDS) works with this global network of EY professionals toensure clients compliance and reporting obligations across the globe are met on time. The GDS teamproject manages the engagement and together with the client facing teams in Americas EMEIA andAsiapac forms the service management office for the client

Technology and Data Operations Team - Staff

Job purpose

• Extract data from various ERP systems and store it in EY tools and distribute it across teams invarious countries
• Understand the functioning of the engagement tools and client ERP systems involved in globalservice delivery
• Liase between EY teams and the client to provide the information
• Understand the EY teams data requirements and fulfill their data needs.
• Work on documenting the process in a structured manner
• Period reporting on the data collection activities to the EY tax teams
• Working knowledge of account reconciliations reviewing TB and posting entries into accountingsystems

Technical skills requirements

• Bachelors degree preferably Commerce or Business management
• 2 -3 years experience of working in a multi-cultural and team environment You will need to:
• Have effective communication skills - both written and oral.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills
• Demonstrate an eye for detail
• Be flexible and willing to adjust responsibilities to align with developing business needs o Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Oracle Essbase Sabrix etc SQL skills will bean advantage.
