• Network Security & Architecture: Supporting the analysis and implementation of modern network security architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles. This includes modern remote access SASE/SSE solutions (Zscaler preferred) network segmentation and least-privilege access policies using Cisco Palo Alto and similar technologies.
• Firewall & Threat Protection: Hands-on experience with Cisco Palo Alto and Zscaler for firewall and zero trust policy management threat detection and web security.
• Secure Connectivity: Assisting in implementing VPN SD-WAN and access control solutions.
• Security Operations & Compliance: Working with SIEM/SOC tools incident response processes and compliance standards (NIST CIS ISO 27001).
• Network Management & Monitoring: Experience collecting and analyzing network traffic (packet captures and firewall logs) as well as an understanding of how organizations manage and monitor their enterprise networks via a Network Operations Center (NOC)
• Cloud & Hybrid Security: Understanding secure cloud networking IAM and leading industry practices for securing cloud environments using native and 3rd party tools.
• OT Security: Basic knowledge of securing ICS/SCADA environments and industry regulations.
