Dayshift Maintenance Engineer

Description:
We are hiring for our client a well-established and growing manufacturing business who are seeking a Dayshift Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Portadown.

This Dayshift Maintenance Engineer role offers a rare opportunity to work Monday to Friday on a days-only schedule supporting production through proactive and reactive maintenance while contributing to continuous improvement across the site.

The Role:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance
Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
Ensure all maintenance work is completed to health & safety standards
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

The Person:

Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to work independently in a dayshift environment
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Good communication and teamwork skills
