Real Estate Solicitor
Location: Birmingham
Salary: 45000 to 55000 (depending on experience)
Experience: 1 year PQE
Our client is looking to appoint a Real Estate Solicitor into its Birmingham office joining a highly regarded national team. This role sits within an Investment Asset Management and Occupiers practice and offers a strong platform for an ambitious junior lawyer to build technical skills confidence with clients and long-term progression.
Youll be supported by experienced colleagues in a collaborative entrepreneurial environment with clear development opportunities and a reward structure that includes bonus and a Sharesave scheme.
This is a broad commercial real estate role with exposure to investment work asset management and occupier matters. Youll work closely with senior lawyers and be encouraged to take ownership early while developing your own relationships over time.
What Youll Be Doing
Investment sales and acquisitions
- Supporting on acquisitions and disposals for a range of property owners and investors
- Reviewing and analysing due diligence information
- Drafting title reports and producing clear pragmatic advice
Asset management and landlord and tenant
- Drafting and negotiating leases and agreements for lease
- Preparing licences to alter and licences to assign
- Supporting on general asset management matters across a variety of sectors
Corporate and banking support (as needed)
- Assisting on the property aspects of corporate transactions
- Supporting on property finance and refinancing matters including certificates of title (where relevant)
What Were Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) at NQ to 1 PQE or relevant real estate experience gained in a trainee seat or as a paralegal
- Understanding of commercial real estate work ideally with exposure to:
- Investment acquisitions and disposals
- Asset management and landlord and tenant matters
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with clients and colleagues
- Excellent attention to detail and a professional discreet approach
- A proactive mindset and willingness to get involved in business development and cross-referrals
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with a practical can do attitude
