Position Description:
We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in monitoring observability and incident management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tools like Grafana Dynatrace AWS CloudWatch (CW) Alarms and OpenTelemetry ensuring high availability performance and reliability of applications and infrastructure.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions
Build and manage dashboards using Grafana and Dynatrace
Configure and optimize AWS CloudWatch alarms for proactive alerting
Implement OpenTelemetry for distributed tracing and metrics collection
Define and track SLIs SLOs and SLAs
Perform incident management root cause analysis (RCA) and postmortems
Automate operational tasks to reduce manual effort (toil reduction)
Collaborate with DevOps development and infrastructure teams
Ensure system scalability availability and performance
Continuously improve monitoring strategies and alerting mechanisms

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:

Strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering / Production Support
Hands-on expertise with Grafana dashboards and alerting
Experience with Dynatrace (APM monitoring troubleshooting)
Solid knowledge of AWS CloudWatch (CW) Alarms and Logs
Practical experience with OpenTelemetry (tracing metrics logging)
Good understanding of monitoring alerting and observability concepts
Experience with Linux systems and troubleshooting
Strong scripting skills (Python / Shell)
Knowledge of incident management and RCA processes

Preferred Skills

Experience with Prometheus ELK stack (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana)
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
Exposure to microservices architecture

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration abilities

Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience in multi-cloud environments
Certifications in AWS / SRE / DevOps
