JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a friendly organized and detailoriented Office Representative to join our busy fastpaced OBGYN clinic. This frontoffice role is essential to creating a welcoming experience for our patients while supporting the daily operations of a highvolume clinical environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a teambased setting can manage multiple tasks at once and remains calm and professional under pressure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet and check in patients in a courteous compassionate and professional manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls while providing excellent customer service
Schedule reschedule and confirm appointments accurately and efficiently
Verify insurance information collect copays and update patient demographics
Manage high patient volume while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Communicate effectively with clinical staff providers and patients
Support patient flow and assist with administrative tasks as needed
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfort working with electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer skills
Ability to remain professional empathetic and solutionfocused during busy or stressful situations
