Position Overview:

Position:Security Guard

Wages:$18.35/hr

Locations:Paris Ontario

Shift timings:Fridays and Saturday (2300 to 1100)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting scheduled thorough and randomized patrols of interior/exterior premises to detect unauthorized persons unlocked doors broken windows building conditions and/or safety hazards using Vision device.
• Emergency Response: Handling emergency situations including but not limited to assisting with response to medical emergencies or assisting with evacuations/shelter-in-place as well as liaising with responding emergency services.
• Maintaining daily logs completing equipment checkswriting incident reports and reporting equipment issues (cameras card readers).
• Surveillance: Monitoring CCTV cameras alarm systems and controlling door locks to detect and prevent security breaches.
• Answering emails directed to the Security Team.
• Writing Incident Reports and sending them to the appropriate individuals.
• Giving Pass downs to fellow officers to ensure smooth shifts.
• Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response.
• Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• 01-year Security Experience.
• Thoroughunderstanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• Strongproficiencyin Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Effective communication skills.
