The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Currently working towards or recently completed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Sociology or a related Social Science subject

• A firm grasp of current social issues and the ability to spark debate in the classroom

• High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and academic progress

• Excellent communication skills and a reflective approach to teaching

• A proactive organised and positive teaching approach
