Currently DPRA is searching for a Network Engineer in our Knoxville Tennessee office location.This full-time position will design and build computing platforms applications and networks operating in a hybrid environment both on premise and in the cloud.

Essential Job Duties and Functions:

• Researches technical components of system architecture for on premise environments and Cloud services/tenants
• Maintains compliance with applicable laws regulations and policies governing information assurance
• Monitors maintains and installs Third Party software and Operating System security updates
• Monitors maintains and ensure complete information and data backup of all test and development environments
• Engages with Security Engineers to ensure vulnerabilities are mitigated
• Deploys major and minor releases and hotfixes of company developed software to all test and development environments
• Develops and maintains documentation of all test and development environments to include build and configuration documents for servers within the environments

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in a related field
• Minimum of two years of experience in performing the job functions
• DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain U.S. government Top Secret Clearance.
• Ability to support and manage Active Directory 2012 R2 and newer and Azure AD
• Ability to Design deploy manage and support Azure and AWS solutions and services
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Exchange or Hosted Exchange
• Demonstrated knowledge of O365 Administration
• Demonstrated knowledge of Routers Firewalls and L2Managed switchtes
• Demonstrated knowledge of VMware (vCenter ESXi Horizon View)
• Demonstrated knowledge of supporting Windows operation systems (Server 2012 Rand Windows 10 & 11 desktops)
• Demonstrated knowledge of backup solutions such as Backup Exec and Veeam
• Basic understanding of Windows PowerShell
• Basic understanding of Terminal Servers MS RDS Deployments
• Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification Required
