Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Certified Medical Assistantfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Paramus NJ.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms treatment areas supplies and instruments
• Assist patients during physician visits and clinical examinations
• Take and record vital signs in patient medical charts
• Perform EKG and other basic diagnostic testing as required
• Conduct phlebotomy and assist with lab testing as indicated
• Maintain and update patient records and documentation
• Utilize EMR systems for data entry and workflow support
• Maintain confidentiality and patient privacy standards
• Support infection control and sterilization procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers
• Assist with administrative and clerical duties
• Adhere to organizational policies and safety standards

Required Skills & Experience

• EMR knowledge and data entry skills
• Phlebotomy experience
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization
• Medical terminology knowledge
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Critical thinking and adaptability
• Patient care and clinical support experience

Education

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)

Required Certifications & Licensure

• AHA BLS certification
• One of the following certifications:
• CMA (NHA)
• CMA (NCCT)
• CMA (AAMA)
• RMA (AMT)
• RMA (NAHP)
• AMCA
• NCMA
