Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Up to $20000 Sign on Bonus available for Qualified Candidates!

Full-time night shift (36 hours per week)

Department Overview

• 24-bed general ICU

• Patient population: trauma neurosurgical/ neurological CRRT and cardiac patients

• RN will be scheduled for onboarding classes such as EVD rapid infuser pacemaker Swan Ganz and Balloon Pump/ Impella

• RN will receive incredible support from the Unit Nurse Educator Unit Coordinator and RN Manager

Education

• Associates Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)

• Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

• Virginia RN License Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible

• All Direct Care RNs required to have BLS within 90 days of hire

• Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire

Experience

• ICU experience

• Alternatively 2 years of Medical/Surgical PCU or ED experience (1 year for ED)
