Lead Infant Teacher

The Sapling School is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Lead Infant Teacher to join our team in Fair Lawn NJ. This role requires someone passionate about early childhood education committed to fostering a safe stimulating and caring environment for our youngest learners. The ideal candidate will be available to work between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM with salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote emotional social cognitive and physical development.
• Provide attentive and compassionate care ensuring the safety and well-being of each infant throughout the day.
• Establish trusting relationships with children and their families maintaining open and positive communication.
• Observe and document each childs growth and development tailoring activities to meet individual needs.
• Maintain a clean organized and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational program and overall school experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience teaching or caring for infants in a daycare or early childhood setting.
• Relevant certification or educational background in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of infant development and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work within the scheduling window of 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
