We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer to lead the design configuration customization and support of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions. This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep expertise in PolicyCenter implementation within production environments. The ideal candidate will independently deliver complex enhancements across the full policy lifecycle including product configuration underwriting rules UI development data modeling and integrations.

Candidates must be willing to attend a meet-and-greet session prior to onboarding. Travel expenses will be covered by Capgemini if applicable; however declined offers after selection may result in travel costs being billed to the vendor.

Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration & Customization

• Design configure and enhance PolicyCenter solutions for insurance products
• Configure product model UI (PCF) and data model extensions
• Maintain coverages exclusions conditions modifiers and terms based on business requirements
• Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices and production readiness

Product Model & Line of Business Support

• Create modify and retire products coverages and terms
• Support Personal Property Line of Business implementations
• Manage policy lifecycle processes including endorsements renewals cancellations and rewrites
• Support new product rollouts and enhancements without regression

Underwriting Rules & Business Logic

• Develop and maintain underwriting rules and eligibility logic using Gosu
• Translate underwriting requirements into technical implementations
• Ensure consistency across all policy lifecycle events

UI Data Model & Integrations

• Develop PolicyCenter UI using PCF and Gosu
• Implement data model changes including entity extensions and schema updates
• Ensure data integrity and integration readiness across systems

Validations Error Handling & Quality Assurance

• Implement validations and error handling to prevent invalid data entry
• Perform defect analysis and resolution across environments
• Support unit testing system testing and regression validation
• Ensure zero critical or high-severity defects in releases

Forms & Documents

• Configure and maintain PolicyCenter forms and documents
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements
• Ensure proper workflow integration and triggering

Rating Configuration

• Configure rating components including rate tables and calculation logic
• Support rating enhancements and defect resolution
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of rating outputs

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Work closely with Business Analysts Product Owners QA and Architects
• Participate in design sessions code reviews and solution planning
• Provide mentorship to junior developers
• Own deliverables from design through production deployment

• Minimum 6 years of Guidewire PolicyCenter development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Guidewire PolicyCenter
  • Gosu
  • PCF (PolicyCenter UI)
  • Guidewire Studio
  • Product Model configuration
• Proven experience delivering:
  • Product model updates
  • Coverage and underwriting rule changes
  • UI and data model changes
  • Forms and rating configuration
• Strong understanding of insurance policy lifecycle:
  • Issuance endorsements renewals cancellations rewrites
• Ability to independently analyze requirements and implement solutions

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
