Job Summary

Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic tactical cross-functional and technology projects and programs across multiple verticals and geographies. This role requires scoping and creating project plans developing processes coordinating and driving execution and communicating to senior management on status risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive project management experience combined with deep analytical capabilities and a keen sense of innovation to lead complex projects from conception to completion.

As a (Senior) Program Manager with Amazon you will have the opportunity to develop the business requirements and influence the success of these this role you will own operational programs related to our vendors and third-party partners and work to resolve operational issues. As a program manager you will work cross-functionally to drive customer centric programs. This role requires a deep need for stakeholder management an ability to synthesize data and information and communication across internal and external partners.



Key job responsibilities
Own Fuel and Energy Solutions forecasting spend analysis and budgeting
Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs ensuring successful delivery.
Develop and refine program strategies effectively leading and motivating teams.
Set clear objectives for programs leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios applying creative problem-solving skills.
Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.
Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with customer needs and technical team inputs.
Bridge gaps in team dynamics processes and systems preventing common project pitfalls.
Identify and mitigate risks preventing them from escalating into major issues.
Regularly communicate with senior managers business leaders and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
Develop implement and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.
Manage and communicate project budgets effectively.

In Global Fleet & Products (GFP) we are building the worlds best Last Mile Fleet operation. A key element of this is the delivery of the safest and most efficient on road operation for our drivers and customers. Our aim is to be the industry leader and logistics provider of choice for drivers service providers and third-party shippers with the safest fleet operations.

As a Senior Program Manager you will be responsible for the innovation and implementation of our fueling programs that serve our Delivery Service Partners and manage cost. This will require working closely with teams globally including: multiple third party vendors Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Amazon Logistics field operations. This role is inherently cross-functionalyou will work closely with Operations Legal Finance Product Teams and Executive Leadership to scale programs internationally. The successful candidate will:

Key Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations and countries

- Development of the overall program strategy tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver

- Define the program (mission vision tenets) set objectives analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics

- Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment seeking to understand business problems automation limitations scaling factors boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions

- Partner with teams across the business you support and beyond to source allocate and coordinate resources

- Partner with customers internal/external teams and engineering teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order

- Oversee gaps between teams processes and systems helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g. requirements not sufficiently understood or documented ineffective cross-team collaboration long-term impact(s) from third-party solutions security not considered insufficient stakeholder review etc.)

- Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks)

- Work with program managers business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives

- Develop implement and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects

- Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers

- Create communicate and manage budget for projects


- 5 years of program or project management experience
- 5 years of owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of vendor management experience
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- 5 years of budgeting scheduling and cost reporting experience
- 3 years of data visualization and reports tools experience
- 3 Years of fuel industry experience OR Electric Vehicle experience.

- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
- Experience working with Legal and Finance teams

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
