Job Summary
Role: Automation Engineer
Location: Hauppauge NY (Hybrid role 3 days/week)
Job Description
Job function
Work with the IT Core lending team to support on new Business capability development on FISERV Loan Director Velocity Product Build automation and improve efficiency of application and its performance Innovate and identify process improvement areas and bring automation to the core Take in ownership of the task on hand communicate effectively and ensure end-to-end accountability on its completion and delivery
Education and Experience
Bachelors masters degree in relevant field with IT application development skills
4-5 years of experience in Application development and programming and preferably in financial or banking industry
Essential skills
Programming and Scripting experience with Java Python Java script and Linux Shell
Good understanding of APIs Web services REST SOAP and other integration protocols
Good working knowledge of SQL Databases MS SQL server Oracle and ability to work with NO SQL databases and build dashboards with Power BI
Knowledge of FISERV banking and lending products Velocity Loan Director is great to have
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Understand engineering best practices and ensure Code quality coverage and programming standards
Good communication skills with ability to present technical details to nontechnical and business partners
Additional skills
Functional knowledge of Core banking and lending process
Any knowledge of Temenos Collections process for financial and banking services is a big plus
Knowledge of Fiserv DNA is a big plus
