Location: Nashville TN 37214
Pay Rate: $25.92/hr on W2
Working time: 8AM to 5PM CST - Monday to Friday may require after hour or weekend support
Description:

Hours: 8AM to 5PM CST - Monday to Friday may require after hour or weekend support
Must Haves:
- Previous experience in logistics/transportation preferably in air and small parcel shipping
- Proficient at basic MS suite such as Excel
- Communication via Outlook
- PowerPoint for recurring reviews with freight forwarders
- Knowledge of frequently used excel formulas
- Self-driven problem-solver good communication skills and ability to work independently
Education:
- While candidates with completed degrees are preferred a degree is not required to be considered for this position
Experience:
- Preferably at least 1 year of experience
Summary:
- Operate industrial trucks or machinery in a warehouse storage yard factory construction site or similar location.
- Responsible for the operation of heavy machinery to safely move product load around the facility.
- Typically has a high school diploma a forklift operators license (for forklift operation) and experience in a production environment.
- This may or may not be true with other heavy machinery operators.
- The technical skills include the ability to transport production materials and goods.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2-4 years manufacturing experience required Responsibility level
- Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor
Skills:
- Verbal communication skills attention to detail team player and problem-solving skills (Required)
- Basic knowledge of raw materials production processes quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods (Required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery
- Move controls to drive vehicles and transport materials between loading processing and storage areas
- Move levers and controls that operate lifting devices such as forklifts and hoists to load unload transport and stack material
- Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets skids and boxes and secure materials or products for transport to designated areas
