Contract Length: ASAP - 10/2027 possibility of extensions

Celebration FL
Must work onsite hybrid starting week 1 (2 weeks max from the time of offer acceptance)
Zero exceptions will be made as this is corporate policy- no delayed remote start no remote work
Work Schedule will generally be Monday - Friday 8am-5pm EST
Up to 4 days in the office at 210 Celebration (currently it is only 2); subject to change

Most candidates have strong VMware backgrounds but lack real VCF 9 experience.
During interviews this gap becomes obvious when candidates are asked practical environment-based questions.
Minimum Expectation for VCF 9
VCF 9 experience is NON-NEGOTIABLE
Candidates must have:
At least some hands-on exposure (even a few months)
Ideally experience installing or working with VCF 9 environments
Strong experience in older versions (VCF 5/6/8):
Helpful but NOT sufficient on its own
Must be combined with actual VCF 9 exposure
Certification Entry-level VCF 9 certification is a strong indicator that the candidates have interacted with VCF-9 and completed labs and installation exercises.

Environment Assessment & Optimization:
Conduct initial assessment DCL Server Infrastructure and VMware environments to identify configuration gaps performance issues and opportunities for improvement.
Documentation:
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including topology diagrams configuration guides all connectivity areas and operational procedures.
Ensure all documentation aligns with compliance and operational standards including password security.
Training & Knowledge Sharing:
Organize and deliver cross-training workshops and knowledge transfer sessions for team members on key areas as directed.
Create training materials and facilitate sessions
Technical Support & Collaboration:
Provide Tier 3 support for server-related incidents and escalations.
Work closely with network engineering and application teams to ensure seamless operations.
Participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery exercises.
Infrastructure Management:
Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere 8.x vCenter ESXi vSAN and VDS.
Demonstrated Experience with VRealize Automation and VRealize Operations
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of experience in server engineering or systems administration.
VRealize Automation and VRealize Operations implementation and support
Strong troubleshooting analytical and communication skills.
Experience with enterprise documentation tools and training delivery.
Experience with automation tools (e.g. PowerShell Ansible).
