The Medical Assistant will provide support in an adult outpatient orthopedic spine and pain management clinic. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care performing office duties and maintaining a smooth workflow within the clinic. Flexibility to float among different physicians based on clinic needs is required.

Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and taking vital signs
- Following up with patients via phone calls
- Preparing charts and authorization forms
- Handling pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
- Scheduling appointments
- Stocking supplies
- Performing telephone triage
- Limited in-office injections for steroid and pain relief

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting
- Proficiency in authorization forms chart preparation pharmacy calls/patient refill requests scheduling appointments stocking supplies and telephone triage
- Ability to perform follow-up phone calls and room patients effectively
- BLS certification
- Must provide/bring their own stethoscope
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting

- Specialization in orthopedics and surgery
- Intramuscular injection skills
- Wound specimen collection skills
- Experience administering medication management/lead experience suture removal and wound care
- ACLS and CMA certifications

Special Considerations:
- RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation and DNR.
- Must be flexible and willing to float among different physicians based on clinic needs.

Scheduling:
- 40 hours per week may be offered
- 8-hour day shifts 08:00 - 17:00
- No call or weekend requirements
- Scheduling is per clinic needs
