Job Summary

Job Title: Software Test Analyst 5

Location: Dimondale MI ( Hybrid)

Duration: 6months

Job Summary:

This position will function as a Test Analyst supporting Agency Services within Treasury. The role focuses on ensuring quality assurance for systems related to financial tax and administrative services. The Test Analyst will coordinate testing activities manage communication between business and IT teams and ensure test deliverables meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Business Analysts and Development teams during requirements development and testing phases
Create and execute test scenarios to validate business requirements and acceptance criteria
Perform system functional and integration testing
Ensure appropriate test coverage including regression testing
Develop and maintain test scripts test plans and supporting documentation
Track report and manage defects using QA tools
Coordinate defect retesting with business users and third-party teams
Participate in requirement reviews workshops and test planning sessions
Prepare reports dashboards and status updates for stakeholders
Support UAT activities and ensure successful test execution
Manage risks issues and quality assurance processes
Act as liaison between business units and testing teams

Required Qualifications:

5 years of experience in QA requirements analysis and test planning
5 years of experience in test execution and defect tracking
Experience with QA tools such as Rational HP ALM or similar
Strong experience in backend functional testing
Ability to review and enhance test plans for proper coverage
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Bachelors degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP Financials
Experience with GenTax
Experience with Oxygen XML Editor
