Job Summary

Duties:

The Customer Advisors (CA) role is a post-sales and customer-facing position that provides ongoing client technical consultation on Marketo application tools optimizations architecture and solutions. This role will include advising Marketers external developers and internal teams to ensure successful adoption and integration of Marketo for our customers. Along with technical consultation the CAs role includes educating and enabling clients on how existing and new product features and functionality work and addressing product-related questions and technical challenges. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Work directly with Marketo customers to turn their marketing into a revenue driver using best practices in marketing automation lead management and revenue performance management
  • Collaborate with clients and Customer Success Managers to capture requirements get feedback on designs and present results
  • Conduct analysis and prepare marketing automation reporting and presentations to be presented to Marketo customers
  • Recommend solutions to help clients advance their marketing maturity and use of marketing technologies
  • Help advance the customer digital experience by means of ground-breaking projects and thought leadership
  • Collaborate and direct multi-functional teams internally and externally to optimally deliver a project end-to-end
  • Help Marketos customer success team maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
Skills:
  • You have 3 years experience in Marketing or Marketing Operations field or as a Marketing Automation consultant
  • Experienced knowledge of Marketo integrations and implementation
  • Have a deep understanding of Marketing & Sales processes in mid-size and large enterprises
  • Know marketing automation processes including lead management campaign management and online marketing
  • Experience working with CRM applications such as and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Have hands-on experience with an enterprise-level Marketing Automation system (Marketo experience is a plus but not required)
  • Problem solver with an attention for data to measure results
  • You are marketing minded and have a good sense business
  • Excellent client management skills strong written and verbal communications executive level presence
  • Solid project management and organizational skills
  • Previous consulting experience is strongly preferred but not required

Technical Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of CRM systems commonly integrated with the Marketo platform
  • Understanding of data warehouses relational database concepts and platforms Experience with data schemas and the ability to discern relationships between data sources
  • Experience with Marketing Automation campaign deployment external (email nurture flows events) and internal (lead scoring opportunity lifecycle sales alerts)
  • Expert knowledge of API standards (REST and Graph QL)
  • Experience with one or more of the following Javascript C# and Java
  • Competency with building and architecting large-scale server applications in a distributed environment.

Education:

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 8 years of working experience in the technology IT Operations or marketing automation sectors is a plus.
