About Malabar Systems Alliance
The Malabar System Alliance is a ten year partnership upgrading wastewater treatment across Sydneys south and west to support population growth. It improves treatment capacity at Liverpool and Glenfield Water Resource Recovery Facilities and strengthens network performance. The program enhances resilience reduces environmental impacts and enables opportunities for future recycled water use.
The Opportunity
The Planner will be responsible for developing maintaining and analysing project schedules across design procurement and construction activities. You will work closely with Alliance partners engineers construction teams and commercial functions to ensure accurate integrated and reliable planning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain fully integrated project schedules across all phases of the works
Interface with design construction procurement and commissioning teams to capture scope logic and sequencing
Maintain critical path analysis progress updates and forecast completion dates
Support shortterm and lookahead planning with construction teams
Prepare schedule reports dashboards and variance analyses for Alliance leadership
Assist with change management delays analysis and scenario planning
Support earned value management and productivity tracking where required
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (or equivalent planning software)
Solid understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycle phases
Experience working in alliance joint venture or collaborative delivery models (highly regarded)
Strong analytical reporting and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
