Call Catcher

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited agency/institution.

• A current resume or detailed list of education and work history required for consideration.

• Minimum of four (4) years industrial maintenance technician experience and/or an industrial maintenance degree.

• Knowledge of machinery lubrication.

• Ability to repair and troubleshoot mechanical power transmissions.

• Able to work any shift weekends overtime holidays as needed.

• Able to work in extreme temperatures in dusty and noisy conditions while wearing safety equipment.

• Must have demonstrated leadership and team skills.

• Ability to write legibly and communicate as necessary to accomplish tasks.

• Able to complete forklift training.

• Able to perform the essential functions of the position which includes climbing stairs navigating catwalks lifting up to 32 pounds stooping and bending;

• Willingness and ability to work any shift assignment (including graveyards) which will involve work on weekends and holidays;

• Willingness and ability to work a 12-hour shift; and

• Ability to work at heights in adverse weather conditions and in challenging positions without issue.

One position for an hourly Maintenance Call Catcher is open at the Natchitoches EWP Mill. Qualified candidates will have comprehensive knowledge in more than on craft/trade. They are responsible to utilize maintenance and electrical processes and techniques to safely repair modify install and maintain the facility and high-tech manufacturing equipment at the facility.

The pay rate for this role is $31.28 per hour.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

• Machinery lubrication and other preventative maintenance assignments.

• Repairing and troubleshooting mechanical power transmissions.

• Knowledge of precision alignment and maintenance tools for bearing installment coupling belts sprockets and chain drive installations.

• Repair and troubleshooting of Pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

• Metal fabrication and basic principles of cylinder repair.

• Some troubleshooting and exposure to Industrial Electrical and PLC issues.

• Provide assistance as needed to other team members such as electricians to ensure assigned tasks are safely executed.

• Other duties as assigned.
