We are looking for a Assistant Chief Engineer
As a Assistant Chief Engineer we rely on you to
Assist the Chief Engineer in taking full responsibility for the daily operation maintenance and equipment management of the hotels Engineering Department.
Supervise and ensure the safe and efficient operation of all hotel facilities and equipment (including electrical HVAC water supply and drainage fire protection systems etc.).
Manage the engineering team including task allocation technical training performance appraisal and team building.
Coordinate cooperation with external suppliers and contractors to ensure the on-time and quality completion of maintenance and renovation projects.
Assist in formulating the annual budget of the Engineering Department monitor daily expenditures and control operational costs.
- Ensure that all engineering operations of the hotel comply with safety specifications environmental protection requirements and local laws and regulations.
- Perform other work tasks assigned by the superior management.
We are looking for someone who:
At least 5 years of engineering management experience in high-star hotels and 2 years of experience in an equivalent position.
Excellent team management communication and coordination abilities with the capability to lead the engineering team efficiently.
Strong budget control and cost awareness and proficiency in the engineering procurement process.
- Mastery of the operating principles maintenance and troubleshooting of various hotel facilities and equipment.
- Familiarity with national and local engineering safety and environmental protection regulations; candidates with relevant professional certificates are preferred.
