About the role
We are seeking candidates who arefluent in Dutchand have a strong understanding of the local market and culture. This role is open toEU nationalsor individuals with valid work authorization in the Netherlands with a priority for those already residing in the country.
The work
As a Java specialist at Accenture Application Engineering youll collaborate with diverse experts in multi-disciplinary teams serving clients in the Netherlands and abroad. Your focus will be on creating sustainable solutions for the future.

Youll have the opportunity to engage in various tasks from developing new features propose system redesigns or drafting architectural designs across a complete microservice landscape.
Projects will vary significantly requiring proficiency in cutting-edge technologies such as Spring/Jakarta cloud microservices and automation. To deliver tailored solutions to clients Accenture partners with (premium) companies like Oracle Splunk Hashicorp and all major cloud operators.
People You will be working on-site or remote in a variety of teams for our clients in different industries.
Processes Youll be building high-tech custom solutions developing new features systems redesigns or drafting architectural designs. Working in according to DevOps culture and Agile practices.
Technology Technologies youll be working with are Java Spring (Boot) distributed architectures and messaging systems containerization (Docker / Kubernetes) cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP) CI/CD automation and databases (SQL / No-SQL).

Heres what youll need
You are already residing in the Netherlands and you speak Dutch
Bachelor or masters degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or other related studies.
Proven experience in Java development or any other technology targeting the JVM.
A passion for software engineering and technology being creative and eager to learn.
Bonus points if you have
Certifications these are always a plus (Oracle Java Spring Kubernetes Azure / AWS / GCP Agile / Scrum DevOps etc.).
Experience with web frameworks based on JavaScript (Angular / React / Vue).
Any other technologies or concepts you are passionate about.
