The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function and partner closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders. You will play a key role in financial management reporting compliance and continuous improvement across the Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Finance Team (Finance Assistant & Financial Officer)
• Deliver monthly financial reporting insights and analysis
• Manage budgets forecasting and cash flow
• Oversee financial acquittals project costing and payroll audits
• Ensure compliance with regulatory audit and reporting requirements
• Manage audit insurance and risk processes
• Support program managers with financial understanding and performance
• Prepare reports for the Board and Finance Committee
• Drive process improvements controls and cost efficiencies
• Oversee investment management and treasury activities

About You

Essential:

• Degree in Accounting CA/CPA qualified
• 5 years experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
• Strong financial reporting modelling budgeting & forecasting skills
• Solid understanding of accounting standards and compliance
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable:

• Experience with TechnologyOne (CiA)
• Background in not-for-profit / community services
• Experience in process improvement and transformation
