Position Overview
A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced outpatient environment. This role requires strong patient care skills attention to detail and fluency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and clinical procedures
- Measure and record vital signs medical histories and patient information
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
- Perform basic clinical duties to support patient care
- Manage front-desk responsibilities including scheduling check-in and check-out
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensure exam rooms are clean organized and fully stocked
- Communicate effectively with patients providers and team members
- Adhere to infection control safety and compliance protocols
- Deliver exceptional patient service and contribute to a positive care environment
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin (required)
- Strong clinical and administrative skillset
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Education & Certifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a Medical Assistant role preferred
