NEW CAREER OPPORTUNITY ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

SAN LUIS POTOSI PLANT

The Assistant Controller supports the Plant Controller in managing financial operations ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong internal controls. This role plays a key part in cost control budgeting forecasting and compliance with corporate and statutory requirements. The position requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to partner with operations to drive financial performance.

YOUR TASK WILL BE

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform cost analysis variance analysis and margin tracking
  • Support budget preparation forecasts and financial planning activities
  • Monitor plant expenses inventory valuation and standard costing
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls corporate policies and local regulations
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to plant management and leadership
  • Assist in SAP / Oracle financial processes and reporting
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to finance processes

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLL YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelors degree in accounting/finance
  • English: Conversational.
  • At least 35 years of experience in accounting or controlling preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS)
  • Experience with cost accounting inventory and variance analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables formulas data analysis)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
