Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SDET - Airborne to ensure the quality reliability and performance of mission-critical airborne software systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation API/UI testing and Linux-based environments along with experience working in Agile and BDD frameworks.
You will play a key role in building scalable test frameworks validating complex systems and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality airborne software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and execute comprehensive test plans test cases and test strategies
- Perform API testing UI testing and Linux-based system testing
- Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks
- Work within Agile and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodologies
- Identify log track and manage defects through resolution
- Generate test reports dashboards and quality metrics
- Collaborate with developers product managers and stakeholders for quality assurance
- Ensure adherence to aviation/airborne software standards and best practices
- Continuously improve test processes coverage and automation efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in manual and automation testing
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman Rest Assured etc.)
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools
- Experience with UI automation tools (Selenium or similar)
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber SpecFlow Behave etc.)
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA Bugzilla etc.)
- Basic programming knowledge in Java/Python
Preferred Skills
- Experience in aviation/airborne or embedded systems testing
- Knowledge of DO-178C or similar aviation standards
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab CI etc.)
- Exposure to performance and security testing
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
