Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET - Airborne to ensure the quality reliability and performance of mission-critical airborne software systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation API/UI testing and Linux-based environments along with experience working in Agile and BDD frameworks.

You will play a key role in building scalable test frameworks validating complex systems and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality airborne software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and execute comprehensive test plans test cases and test strategies
• Perform API testing UI testing and Linux-based system testing
• Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks
• Work within Agile and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodologies
• Identify log track and manage defects through resolution
• Generate test reports dashboards and quality metrics
• Collaborate with developers product managers and stakeholders for quality assurance
• Ensure adherence to aviation/airborne software standards and best practices
• Continuously improve test processes coverage and automation efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in manual and automation testing
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman Rest Assured etc.)
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools
• Experience with UI automation tools (Selenium or similar)
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber SpecFlow Behave etc.)
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA Bugzilla etc.)
• Basic programming knowledge in Java/Python

Preferred Skills

• Experience in aviation/airborne or embedded systems testing
• Knowledge of DO-178C or similar aviation standards
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab CI etc.)
• Exposure to performance and security testing
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
