Shift Schedule
Shift: 1st Shift (days)
Schedule: Monday- Thursday
Hours: 5am-3:30pm
Additional: Some weekends and every other Sunday night required
Description of Role:
The Sanitation Operator is responsible for all sanitation activities in accordance with Q&FS standards QMP procedures and site master sanitation schedule requirements. This role ensures the effective use of chemicals cleaning processes and sanitation equipment.
What are we looking for
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma GED or equivalent education
- Previous experience in a sanitation related role
- Proficiency in software systems including MS Office and e-mail
Physical Requirements:
- Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
- Frequent bending stooping twisting handling and gripping.
- Ability to work at elevated heights climb stairs lean over equipment and operate in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods with shifts lasting 12 hours
- Capable of working in hot cold and wet conditions
- Proficient in understanding communicating reading and writing in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree or certifications
- 2 years in a sanitation related role
What will be your key responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine cleaning of specific pieces of equipment buildings and site.
- Maintain accurate records of PMs other sanitation activities and scrap destruction
- Complete all documentation in an accurate/quality matter
- Complete required safety quality and food safety training
- Adhere to all good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
- Additional duties and responsibilities throughout the plant as assigned by Supervisor
