Swords Childrens Disability Network Team

One year fixed term contract full time 37 hours per week

The CRC Childrens Disability Network Teams (CDNT) provide intervention to children from the age of 0-18 years presenting with complex developmental needs requiring inter-disciplinary intervention. Our services are based upon a Family Centered Practice Model in line with the Progressing Disability Services. CRC CDNTs are based in Clontarf Swords Balbriggan Clondalkin and Waterford. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team.

The successful candidate will have the following essential requirements:

Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition have

- (i)Have a Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) accredited qualification at not less than a Level 8 at 2.1 honours grade on the QQI qualifications framework in which psychology was a major subject

- Or (ii) A Level 8 honours degree in another subject (2.1 or higher) together with an accredited conversion qualification at a minimum of (2.1) as conferring eligibility for graduate membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland

Post-qualification experience working with children with disabilities

Excellent communication initiative and time management skills

Flexibility and teamwork skills which are key to this role

Desirable requirements:

Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Experience working with children with physical disabilities

Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities

Full drivers license and access to car
