About the role:

As a Finance Business Partner for Transport youll bring financial clarity to a critical part of our cooperative. Youll prepare and communicate financial models and reporting to influence strategy guide performance and support smarter decision-making.
Joining a tight-knit team of three youll collaborate with people who are passionate about delivering impact and just as passionate about supporting one another. Together youll help turn insights into action across our South Island network.


Key responsibilities include:


Partner with our Transport leadership team to provide commercial insights and challenge thinking to drive outcomes.
Lead key financial processes including budgeting forecasting and monthly financial reviews.
Build and maintain robust models and reports that support operational and strategic decisions.
Support business cases major initiatives and continuous improvement efforts with trusted financial analysis.

About you:

Youll be a natural collaborator with strong commercial instincts and a love for numbers that tell a story. Youre not just a technical expert you know how to bring people on the journey and are always ready to roll up your sleeves when it counts. Ideally youll also bring:

Experience in business partnering ideally within Transport Supply Chain or FMCG.
Strong analytical and modelling capability with advanced Excel skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
Proven experience with forecasting budgeting and financial reporting.
Comfortable taking a hands-on approach and engaging directly with financial operations and analysis
A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not essential.
