Could you be the full-time Maintenance Technical Support Engineer in Sofia were looking for


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and project expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside professional and dedicated teammates in Sofia reporting to Svetoslav.

Youll define prepare optimize and continuously improve maintenance technologies. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (e.g. business development bids project management engineering industrial quality and support functions) offer support to our local project team maintain the link with our central teams and much more.

Youll specifically take care of providing engineering support for the team at the new Svetovrachene depot and applying the engineering strategy at the depot level.

Well look to you for:

  • Assuring the engineering resources and skills needed to support the project in the Svetovrachene depot
  • Collaborating with Services Engineering and Platforms teams to improve the Services portfolio of products and services
  • Optimizing the scope and related tasks of the maintenance plan
  • Leading cost reduction actions in collaboration with sourcing and industrial teams
  • Detecting defining and implementing modifications of the maintained products to improve reliability and serviceability
  • Proposing innovative solutions and developing and implementing R&D programs and new technologies in maintenance projects
  • Analyzing the technical performance of systems and the efficiency of maintenance plans and processes and promoting action plans to improve them
  • Promoting the use of the latest maintenance techniques and R&D developments
  • Analyzing failure criticality studies and using RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) and other methodologies to define and optimize maintenance requirements tasks and intervals
  • Integrating data from Operations (Return on Experience)

  • University degree in Railway Engineering Electronics Computer Science Automation Engineering or Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in the technological field with a specialization in rolling stock
  • Good knowledge of PC use including Word and Excel
  • English language proficiency at an intermediate level or higher
  • Problem-solving capacity including technical and cost evaluation of solutions
  • Ability to manage technical risks
  • High interpersonal skills self-motivation attention to detail and a strong team-player mindset
