Key Responsibilities:
Student Support: Assist in providing PT services including interventions for motor skill development in varied school settings.
Collaboration: Communicate with educational staff parents and therapists to coordinate care.
Documentation: Maintain therapy records including progress notes schedules and IEP documentation.
Equipment Management: Utilize knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive
technology.
Assessment: Assist with assessments to identify needed PT services.
QualificationsEducation: Graduate from a PTA program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
Licensure: Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.
Skills: Experience in pediatric therapy and knowledge of school-based special education regulations are preferred.
Requirements: Reliable transportation for travel between school sites.
Physical RequirementsThe position may require lifting/moving up to 50 pounds as well as frequent standing walking bending and maneuvering in classrooms
