DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily production issue.
- Production schedule adherence inventory management and employee development.
- Determining resources (capacity) needed to meet production plan.
- Managing dispatching of work orders according to the build plan.
- Drive for workmanship and quality improvements.
- Responsible for producing product output.
- Managing employee attrition and retention.
- Ensuring compliance to ISO Safety ESD Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.
- Motivate staff to achieve breakthrough performances.
- Maintain highly disciplined workforce.
- Meet the performance matrix - HPU CT DPPM Line Item Volume Cross Training WIP Accuracy and Attendance.
- Take part or to be trained on companys initiatives such as Lean Continual Improvement.
Education & Experience
- Diploma in Business Admin / Economics / IE / Production Management or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a high volume high mix production environment managing production with at least 3 years in supervisory position.
Skills
- Experience working with Oracle/ ERP/ SAP/ MRP tools is preferred but not mandatory
- Computer software knowledge etc : Microsoft Window.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Able to manage people and has good working attitude.
- Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
- Experience working in a fiber optic transceiver manufacturing environment will be an added advantage
