Social Worker Childrens Support and Safeguarding

What will your responsibilities be

• Safeguarding & Protection:Deliver professional social work services to children and families to ensure they are protected in accordance with legal requirements and Trust policies.
• Assessment & Planning:Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families in crisis to identify risks and develop effective outcome-focused intervention plans.
• Intervention:Implement a range of social work interventions designed to support families and safeguard children from harm.
• Multi-Agency Collaboration:Work closely with partner agencies (Health Education Police) and various professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to child welfare.
• Caseload Management:Maintain accurate and timely case records ensuring all statutory visits and reviews are completed within departmental guidelines.
• Outcome Focus:Ensure the best possible outcomes for children in your care by maintaining a child-centered approach in all decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have

• Social Work England registrationand a recognized professional Social Work qualification.
• Experience Requirement:Minimum of3 years of permanent post-qualified experiencewithin a statutory childrens safeguarding setting.
• Compliance:You must complete theDfE cover sheetfully to be considered for this position.
• Risk Management:Proven ability to assess and manage risk in high-pressure environments.
• Relationship Building:Strong skills in engaging families during times of crisis and building professional networks.

• Hybrid Working:A hybrid model is in place requiring 3 days per week in the officeat the Gainsborough Road Resource Centre in Corby.
• Office Base:School Place Corby Northants NN18 0QP.
• Contract:Full-time agency cover.
