Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced and resilient Social Worker to join its clients Childrens Support and Safeguarding Team based in Corby. This role is focused on protecting the welfare of children and young people through high-quality assessment crisis intervention and robust safeguarding in line with statutory obligations.
What will your responsibilities be
- Safeguarding & Protection:Deliver professional social work services to children and families to ensure they are protected in accordance with legal requirements and Trust policies.
- Assessment & Planning:Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families in crisis to identify risks and develop effective outcome-focused intervention plans.
- Intervention:Implement a range of social work interventions designed to support families and safeguard children from harm.
- Multi-Agency Collaboration:Work closely with partner agencies (Health Education Police) and various professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to child welfare.
- Caseload Management:Maintain accurate and timely case records ensuring all statutory visits and reviews are completed within departmental guidelines.
- Outcome Focus:Ensure the best possible outcomes for children in your care by maintaining a child-centered approach in all decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have
- Social Work England registrationand a recognized professional Social Work qualification.
- Experience Requirement:Minimum of3 years of permanent post-qualified experiencewithin a statutory childrens safeguarding setting.
- Compliance:You must complete theDfE cover sheetfully to be considered for this position.
- Risk Management:Proven ability to assess and manage risk in high-pressure environments.
- Relationship Building:Strong skills in engaging families during times of crisis and building professional networks.
Working Hours and Flexibility:
Hybrid Working:A hybrid model is in place requiring 3 days per week in the officeat the Gainsborough Road Resource Centre in Corby.
Office Base:School Place Corby Northants NN18 0QP.
Contract:Full-time agency cover.
