About the role

This role leads day-to-day Insurance operations with a focus on managing and developing a high-performing India-based team. Youll oversee insurance workflows across the mortgage lifecycle ensuring timely accurate and compliant execution.

Youll use data and metrics to drive performance improve processes and partner cross-functionally to deliver strong quality and customer outcomes. This is a key role in scaling a critical function that supports loan quality and seamless closings.

Working Arrangement

• Location: Bangalore India

• Schedule: 4 days onsite 1 day remote

• Shift: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM PST

Key Responsibilities

• Lead coach and develop an Insurance operations team

• Oversee insurance verification documentation and workflow execution

• Monitor SLAs quality and performance metrics

• Partner with cross-functional teams (Underwriting Closing Compliance etc.)

• Drive process improvements and maintain SOPs

• Manage vendor and partner relationships

Who you are

• 46 years in mortgage or insurance operations with team leadership experience

• Strong knowledge of homeowners insurance in mortgage lending

• Data-driven with experience managing KPIs and performance

• Effective communicator with experience working across global teams

• Comfortable in fast-paced evolving environments

Preferred

• Experience with India/offshore teams

• Knowledge of hazard/flood insurance and mortgage regulations

• Background in FinTech or high-growth environments
